Some years ago I read that if you have $100k in assets you need to have an estate plan. That's code for if you own a home, you definitely need to have an estate plan. If you have children or other loved ones who would mourn your passing, we recommend you take some time to make plans; today is a great day to get your affairs in order. Don't worry, we are not attorneys so we are definitely not going to take a deep dive into full estate planning. We do, however, want to leave you with some food for thought.
