We are revisiting your career! This podcast is essentially part 2 to our You, Inc. podcast episode on July 11 - because it's that important! These past few years have been pretty turbulent - even if you weren't directly impacted you were at least peripherally aware of the Me, Too and Black Lives Movements, not to mention the political unrest and pandemic overload. The news headlines are screaming that it's "The Great Resignation" as many people are leaving jobs after being called to return to work as the shelter in place orders were lifted.
You need to manage your career like a well-run corporation, hence the title "You, Inc." As discussed in part one, you need to manage your career early and often; identify a mentor and network that can support you and hold you accountable. Ensure you are qualified: education-wise, and also take on high-visibility projects.
