Description

Few athletes hold the distinction of setting all-time records in both high school and college. Tyzashia Holt was one of them, rewriting the record books at Humboldt High School and St. Catherine University. The kicker? Holt didn't play a single minute of hoops until she turned 14. Holt's progression from novice to expert included career scoring records in high school and college, and she became the first woman in St. Catherine school history to earn a triple-double. Holt's next chapter in basketball will come as an assistant coach for South St. Paul girls basketball, part of her efforts to mentor the next generation of athletes. Get ready for a lot of memories, a lot of laughs, and a dose of inspiration for anyone considering a path in basketball!
