This is a very special edition of the show because we have not only one but TWO special guests!
First, we feature LA-based kindie artist Mista Cookie Jar, who's known to make funk and hip-hop inspired tracks for kids and families for over ten years, and has collaborated with Twinkle Time (who was in my first episode) as well as Little Miss Ann and Andrew and Polly. I talk to him about his music, his advocacy for promoting kindness, his representation of Filipino culture in some of his songs, and the vibrant kindie scene in Los Angeles.
Second, we feature Boston-based Stacey Peasley, who started as a teacher and is now a soccer mom and a wonderful singer. I talk to her about her new album, "Make it Happen", her musical influences, her first major stage show as a student (in a school production of Camelot) and her most embarrassing story as a former teacher, plus all the changes in kids music in the last ten years.
And you'll hear all about the in-person kids music concerts coming your way this summer in the US in a new segment called the "Summer Concert Calendar"!
Enjoy this wonderful double header episode!
