Jane Mouritz moved to Albany from Hyden in 2015. Jane was involved in the Hyden community for 37 years as well as running a farm business. She has served in local government, and also as an appointed member to a number of State and national advisory committees, including the Regional Communities Program, Stronger Families and Communities Initiative, the National Advisory Committee for Ageing, Internet Advisory Panel and the WA Telecentres Advisory Board. Until recently she was a director of Leadership Western Australia and a member of the Ministerial Council for Suicide Prevention WA. In Albany, she has been a member of the Southern Ports Community Consultation Group. Although her tenure as Chair of the Albany Community Hospice is about to come to an end, Jane has much to impart. Join me as I interview a dedicated and empathic leader who has seen and done a lot that we can all be very grateful for.
