After finding her passion for the culinary arts at a young age, Mel has led in kitchens from the age of 19. After discovering that her passion for cheffing did not match what she was being asked to cook, she moved into a completely different industry. Then Alkaline came along and suddenly she had the chance to bring coeliac friendly, vegan and now nut-free food to the Great Southern.
