Today I am reviewing Both can be True by Jules Machias. They did a phenomenal job with this novel; I truly loved it. Ash is a gender fluid middle schooler, which makes school extra hard for them. Just walking into the bathroom is a huge decision for them, when they know they’ll never be able to fully commit to one gender. Meanwhile, Daniel is struggling to hide his feelings in front of everyone. He knows he’s overly sensitive and he knows most boys aren’t like this.
