|| Vulnerability is terrifying. ||

Kia Orana. This week on Episode 84 of the #ReadswithRosaPodcast I catch up with the bro Jayden. A proud Cook Island Maori and Dilworth Alumni from Aotearoa New Zealand, he shares his story of moving to Japan as an 18 year old for University and a rugby scholarship. He immersed himself in the Japanese culture and language, completed his studies, and continued playing rugby at club level. He reflects on opportunities that he has gained through the sport, lifelong friendships, and even having a stint with the Japan 7’s Rugby team.
Earlier this year he participated in The Bachelorette Japan Season 2, which was filmed in Chiang Mai, Thailand, making it all the way to the top 3.  He shares some insight into his experience on the show, as well as lessons learned about love and happiness, vulnerability and stepping out of your comfort zone, and staying true to your values. He also pays homage to his family, especially his Mum for the role model that she is and the impact she has had on his life.
