This episode is a sermon I preached in October 2017 while working through the gospel of Matthew. The text is Matthew 22:15-22 where Jesus is asked whether it is right to pay taxes to Caesar or not. Jesus' answer, "Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's and to God the things that are God's" silenced his critics. I've included this sermon here because of its connection to Genesis 1:26-27.
