Prayer is giving God praise and credit for the great things He has done along with lovingly sharing everything with the One who can do anything.
CONTEXT: Humbly seek God, turn from bad ways, God hears and forgives and heals. A huge sigh of relief, restoration and revitalization.
According to Philippians 4:6-7 what are some important characteristics to having authentic prayer time with God?
Supplication - petition, thing asked for
Thanksgiving - grateful language to God, Eucharistia, verb
Known to God - declare to God
When it comes to prayer it’s just as important about what you lay down as what you pick up from GOD.
Focus on God in prayer. Prioritize Him.
Use clear, concise, heart, mind soul and strength, God honoring, love filled words.
What does Matthew 6:5–8 show us about ourselves when we pray?
Speak from the heart. Honor God. Get to the point.
What is Jesus’ advice on prayer found in Matthew 6:9?
When you don’t know what to pray, pray The Lord’s Prayer, when you do know what to pray, pray The Lord’s Prayer.

Worship: Devote yourself to daily intercessory prayer. God, the Father of Jesus, gets your full attention. (Popcorn and 4 course meal prayers.)
Community: Pray with others, right then don’t wait. Praying for others authentic prayer requests strengthens our neighborhood and us as the family of God.
Service: Pray for others. J.O.Y. Jesus. Others Yourself. Your heart’s desires but ultimately for God’s will to be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Multiplication: Ask others to pray. Anyone can pray and everybody should. It’s a good way to get better at it.
