The temptation is to choose comfort, suffering, wants, desires, hopes, dreams, preferences, expectations, etc. anything first, even if Jesus is second.
Answer the same question that to 12 did… Do you want to go away as well?
So much seeks to master and rule over us. Spiritual beings, creation, Moses and good works philosophy, bondage to sin, hurts, habits, hangups.
Look to who / what you put your faith in the most.
Observe who the outcome of your actions point too.
See where you go to harvest for security and significance.
No better than Jesus, no matter what you try before you die.
