Those of a certain vintage may remember RBC competing in the Eredivisie and in the final of the KNVB Cup against Ajax. Sadly, their collapse was greater than their rise.
A life-long RBC fan, Bas tells us why RBC were only ever an amateur-level club who punched above their weight, and we touch on how the much-maligned Dutch football pyramid plays into the demise of football clubs in the Netherlands.
