In part four of our four-part series celebrating black history month, host s.m. gaines and co-host Ray Gaines talked to our retired family members: Byron Jones, Sue Gaines, M. Gaines, Ray Gaines Sr and Walter Gaines, who served in the military. On our family Zoom call last December, the discussion about the military came up. We took the opportunity to ask tough questions about their challenges while serving, and they gave advice to the younger generation who are considering a career in the armed forces.
