Reality Bytes podcast host, Desley Casey interviews Mark Ptolemy from the Australian Workers Party.

Mark has been active in politics all his life. Joining the Nuclear Disarmament Party in the early 1980s, he soon ended up as an activist for the Australian LaborParty. Having served in numerous capacities on a local branch level, Mark managed political campaigns and ran for Federal Parliament for the ALP in 2004. After several years as a member of Labor’s administrative committee in NSW, Mark had a "Road To Damascus" moment where he realised he and Labor no longer shared the same values or ideals. Mark went on the co-form the Australian Workers Party with the view of giving working people an authentic political voice.
