In today’s reading of Tyndale’s OYCSB (with featured content written by the CBT team),
God responds to Job in the presence of his friends. They have all boldly referenced the approaching storm in order to make points about God. When God speaks from that storm and reveals He has heard all that was said, all of the men experience what must have been a heart-stopping moment.
Notice today’s introductory commentary. God corrects Job’s thinking by asking questions. It says, “God used questions to confront Adam and Eve in the Garden after they sinned. God questioned Cain first about his attitude, then about his actions toward Abel. God questions people to bring them to the end of themselves and to awaken them to think more deeply about Him.”
Let’s think more deeply about God!
