- The vows man makes are not only heard by God but attended to by God. No covenant member is allowed to carelessly make idle vows to the Lord.
- God's covenant members must have integrity in their words. He is using them to steward His redemption plan. They will both administer His wrath and His blessing. Their word must not be maligned before Him or the nations.
