- Jesus continues His answer to the leading priests and elders who questioned Him in the Temple. They asked Him, “By what authority are you doing all of these things?” Remember, Jesus had just driven out the merchants from the temple.
- The Sadducees challenge Jesus about the resurrection. Jesus’ answer caused the religious leaders to be afraid to ask Him any more questions.
