With over 20 years working in the music industry, it’s a pretty good chance you haveworked with Brian or you’d like to. He started his career in Nashville just as SixpenceNone The Richer’s “Kiss Me” played as Laney Boggs walked down those stairs in thatfamous glow up scene in 1999’s She’s All That. Temping his way into Word Records asa customer service rep, he quickly shot up the ranks to A&R and achieving his first careergoal. At the same time he was coming of age himself as an out proud gay man. In 2002,the Christian Music scene in Nashville wasn’t ready for that and he set his mind west toLA, no job, no connections, no place to live and hit the pavement. Again temping his wayinto the music industry, working at several companies before landing at Warner MusicGroup in their Synch dept and therefore achieving his second career goal. From there, jumping to Bug Music and SonyATV, continuing his passion to pitch music forFilm/TV/Trailers and Commercials. But life had a funny way of changing his course andfound himself in the world of TV Production at Last Call with Carson Daly where his lifewas forever changed. He spent 8 seasons, over 760 shows producing live music segmentsfor the most respected late night show and achieving his unknowingly third career goal. But all things come to an end when the host is done hosting the show haha. So was on tothe current chapter: BMG. Currently Brian is having the time of his life working the vastfrontline artist roster of the global label and publisher, BMG. And after these 20 years, heis at the top of his game, working with the most genuine, talented group of co-workersand artists in his career and couldn’t be happier.
