Description

If the definition of crazy is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results, then how do we break the cycle?

It’s why I have given up resolutions, and focus on the journey instead.

Etched in my memory is the scene in the movie, The Jerk, with Steve Martin where he is leaving home but procrastinates by needing to grab random things to take with him; including a random kitchen chair.

Whenever I am asking myself if something is truly important to keep, I wonder if it's just that chair: something I am choosing to hang on to to keep me in that holding pattern.

Circling above what I really want.

With it within sight but mysteriously unattainable.

Once you have committed to change, you have to commit to RELEASE.

To those of you who committed to “the Assignment” in episode 58.

I applaud you!

If you were like me and started out strong but fizzled out as things got busy, you may have realized as I did the lesson in that alone.

I let go of some hard stuff: physical objects, resentments, obligations, expectations, and more.

And I also slipped back into comfort patterns that weren’t necessarily aligned with the desired path forward.

This episode starts out differently than most.  With the experience of physical release.

A fun exercise to remind you how good it feels to let go.

And that YOU are IN CHARGE of the process of Release.

Therein lies the power!
