Bullying is a widespread problem in our society. Nearly a quarter of all children were bullied last year. Nearly 15% of adult workers were bullied too in their workplaces. This doesn't account for all the bullying in families, where children are abused and where there is domestic violence.
In this sermon Neil shows us how bullying is nothing new. This Psalm of David is about 3000 years old. But David was able to bring his complaint to God and entrust him to bring justice.
Neil also wonderfully shows how this Psalm points us to Jesus as the only Righteous One and how through him each of us can find mercy and extend that mercy to others.
