Welcome back to Playtime! This is the segment of the podcast designed for kids to listen to outside, with their grown ups. For this week's playtime, we are getting back to animal play! I will share some fun facts about our special animal friend and kids will have an opportunity to guess what animal it is (flamingo!) We will be balancing, dancing, and building like flamingos!
The supplies you will need for this week: we will be using mud to build like flamingos so this playtime will work best in an area suitable for mud play. You can make your mud ahead of time and have it ready, or pause and create mud together during playtime. It might also be fun to have some tools like shovels, buckets, or bowls to help with building and molding your mud. Each child should also bring along a ball, toy egg, or similar (something that can get muddy!), to use as their pretend flamingo egg.
