Joanna Mason loved her job, loved the people she worked with but her home life was not great. Jo was the victim of domestic and family violence and her once stable job, home life, relationship all fell apart in quick suggestion. Her employer did not have the tools in place to support her through her personal journey and this inspired Jo to create Workhaven.
This episode we chat with Jo on her journey, what she did and how she went from barely surviving to thriving and driving change in organisations on their policies and practices regarding domestic and family violence. Jo is now the Co-Founder and CEO of Workhaven and committed to developing solutions to make change.
Joanna is also sharing her key lessons in a webinar so enjoy this conversation and learn more by joining the webinar - https://www.womeninsafety.net/event-details/webinar-domestic-and-family-violence-in-the-workplace
