It’s a mid-August edition of Red Sox Minors Talk on the Pesky Report! This week Derrik, Hunter and Jake start in Worcester and talk about the massive performance for Wilyer Abreu, who took home International League Player of the Week Honors after swatting SIX homers last week. Later, they discuss Brainer Bonaci’s much-deserved promotion to Portland and his strong first week performance there. Speaking of strong first impressions, the guys go deep on Kyle Teel’s incredible debut in Greenville on both offense, defense and early signs of his leadership as a potential franchise catcher. Noah Song is back pitching in the Red Sox franchise and Allan Castro had a big week in Greenville as well. In Salem, they talk about Yordanny Monegro’s awesome start and his huge swag potential, as well as promotions for Marvin Alcantara and Johanfran Garcia. FInishing up, the guys do their FCL/DSL Minute and play Guess the Prospect.
