Perfectionism can impact many areas of a person’s life and it can affect someone in the workplace, at home, in relationships, in careers, etc.  As perfectionism is self-imposed, you are the only one who can play a major role in recovering from its negative effects. The first and most important step is to render self-compassion to yourself.
