Entrepreneurship has taken different shapes and forms over the generations and with this, we see many women joining the entrepreneurial scene. Undoubtedly, today’s communication tools have been a major impetus to the “rise of the entrepreneur” happening across the world. For some, it could be that they were at an early age trained to be one because their parents were also entrepreneurs and have already established themselves in the business.
It's not just about starting — it's also about surviving and thriving as an entrepreneur. Entrepreneurship is challenging and there will be ups and downs along the way. It takes hard work and dedication to be able to handle the challenges. Most people who transition from a 9 to 5 job will find themselves working harder than those who work for a corporation or an existing entrepreneur.
In this episode, I will share my personal journey with becoming a successful entrepreneur, as well as the key elements necessary for entrepreneurs to focus on to be successful. More importantly, though, being able to handle and overcome setbacks is vital to the success of the business.
