Working in a corporation can be a mixed experience. On one hand, a company hires you for your expertise, but on the other you have to fight to prove that you are competent. What is left is you getting up the gumption to leave corporate but those feelings of imposter syndrome and always looking for approval come with you. They are like a little shadow that creeps around.
