In our inaugural episode, we jump into the book series that inspired this project, The Children of the Red King series, starting with its first book Midnight for Charlie Bone by Jenny Nimmo. We read through the chapter Clues At Last and stop before the chapter Mind Games. If you'd like to read along with us, you can probably find this book at your local library, but we cover most of the plot in a followable way.
