Colleen McKenna and Jim Cusick discuss and speculate the reasons behind the two recent major changes on LinkedIn, the introduction of “Creator Mode” and the crackdown on automated connection requests,  and why they’re welcoming these improvements to the platform. LinkedIn is limiting the amount of rogue and random connection requests, in an effort to limit spam and automation. While cold messages can turn into real business relationships, endless and automated outreach with little to no strategy will no longer be tolerated.
