The Kingdom of God or (The Kingdom of Heaven) is not a place we end up one day but a spiritual reality that we awaken to now. Jesus teaches us in Matthew 13 that this kingdom is like a treasure that a man discovered in a field. In his joy he sold everything he had to purchase the field.
