Welcome to Daily Devotion with Pastor Balla for July 9, 2025. Today’s reflection, “Kiss the Son: Finding Refuge in Christ” from Psalm 2:10–12, presents God’s gracious call to a rebellious world. Though nations rage and rulers resist, the Lord still extends an invitation: “Be wise, be warned… Kiss the Son.” This call to repentance and reverence urges all people to submit joyfully and humbly to Christ, the true King. To “kiss the Son” is to honor and trust in Him—to find in Him not wrath, but refuge.
Though Christ will judge, He also offers mercy. All who take shelter in Him are blessed, for His wrath and love meet at the cross. Let us rejoice in this gift and proclaim it boldly.
