Today's episode is just one and not split into two parts because i will be taking next week off for my Bday and will come back the week after for my interview episode with someone around my age who will ask me hopefully some interesting questions about 60's music and hopefully that will be good. in the meantime enjoy this really cool episode on a genre of music you don't really hear too much of anymore unfortunately but it was a VERY popular genre of music in the 60's, and today is all about the history behind this song and interestingly enough, I don't break down the song's lyrics because the song doesn't really have any lyrics. yes, it's an instrumental song, so I talk about what makes this song so cool musically then I immediately get into the history behind it. this includes where it was recorded, who were the musicians on the track and the history behind the song's original demo as well. here's the link to this week's song just in case you wanted to listen to it:
