Irina-Cristina Bogdan is an enthusiastic and multitalented individual with experience in fashion, digital marketing, and student engagement.
After completing a Teaching degree in Romania, she moved to Aberdeen, Scotland, in 2016, to study Fashion Management at Robert Gordon University. She graduated with First Class Honours in 2020 and decided to stay, now pursuing a master’s degree in Digital Marketing. At the same time, she works part-time as a Student School Officer, Student Ambassador, and Associate Trainer.
Irina has been involved in various fashion projects as a model, stylist, dresser, blogger, visual merchandiser, creative director, model liaison, and store planner. She also appeared in films and adverts, acted in plays, danced in competitions, sang in various choirs, and used to paint and create jewellery. So, she is definitely a creative and artistic person and a keen bean who likes keeping herself busy.
To those interested in gaining more experience in the fashion industry, Irina suggests volunteering because it teaches you how to navigate in real-life scenarios and helps you make connections. That is actually how she became a model for Aberdeen Fashion Week.
Irina’s ultimate advice: “Push yourself out of your comfort zone to learn and build your confidence, but don’t do something that conflicts with who you are, you should always feel safe and have fun”.
