Description

I have been told that you can enjoy interviewing a guest, I thought I did all this time until I interviewed Neil Schell. So interesting, I gave him a new name "Mogaka" a Kenyan name for his love for Kenya. How can a guy who has worked in Hollywood & the Canadian film industry be so humble and fun to talk to? The answer is simple, Neil is full of love for the world and everything in it.

Born in Qu'Appelle, Saskatchewan, Canada. Neil moved to Vancouver at the young age of 14 and in his early 20s began to pursue a career in acting. He then made another big move, crossed the boarder to Hollywood. After a few years, Neil moved back to Canada and continued acting, editing and also training actors. This is where he met someone so special, she uprooted him to Africa. Dorothy, his Kenyan student in Canada invited him to go to Kenya to help direct a TV programme, he initially was going for 13 episodes but the Kenyan TV industry loved his work so much and kept extending his directing contract, currently Neil is also about to start directing a film.

Neil has directed so many TV shows and films. Here are titles he either produced or acting in and is majorly known for outside Africa; O.A.S.I.S., The A-Team (2010) and Watchmen (2009). Dr. Do Little 3.

Presently, Neil has completed a script for his own film which is slated to go to camera in October.
