Claire Garvey has had her own shop in Cows Lane, Temple Bar, Dublin, Ireland since 2001. She specilizes in bespoke one off pieces, evening wear, wedding dresses, debs, 21st and welcomes any unusual commissions. She did her Masters degree in fashion and costume in Vgik University of performing Arts, Moscow. it was there where she honed her skills and developed her craft.
Claire's spectacular outfit of a Celtic warrior princess was worn by Lisa Madden, Miss Universe Ireland at Miss Universe in Miami. It was featured on national papers as well as international websites such as cnn. She was picked by Madam Figaro as one of six designers across the world to show her design, “the White Swan“ in Paris. She created a bespoke collection of jackets for Nile Rodgers and designed for the girls from Chic. Claire also designed outfits for Nile Rodgers for Elton John's Oscar party.
She designed for The Berlin Show Orchestra with flying violinist sensation Angel Strings. She also created an outfit for Eimear Noone as the first female conductor of the Oscars ever, in February 2020, which was mentioned in the New Yorker magazine. She continues to design for many musicians, performers and artists. She has won many awards over her career. Finally, she has received a grant from Irish Arts Council to create her dream Met Gala Gown.
