On the 69th day of 2022, the new CBA for the MLB was finally agreed upon and put into place ending the lockout and finally signalling to the world: baseball is back. We're gonna have 9 inning double headers, we're gonna have a universal DH, and we are not gonna have a runner on second to start every inning in extras. Opening day is a month away, but free agency got started immediately, and while it may have started slower than some anticipated, it was far from boring.
