Last week we discussed the prodigal and how we need to pause, sometimes, and think about the love of the Father. We need to remember the vast spaces that God’s love can cover. It sounds like a great way to end a parable, right? "Leave it alone, close the book, and call it a day, Jesus." I’m positive that everyone around Jesus was fine with that part of the parable. But, Jesus was not done with this parable. He had one more point to make. This week we’re going to look at that point in the second part of the Parable of the Prodigal Son with the son who stayed in the father’s house.
