Many people wrongly think that "Perseverance of the Saints" means something like "once-saved-always saved," or that Christians have 'eternal security.' But for Calvinists it means much more, that if you are truly saved, you will persevere in your faith. Danny and Phil explain why this undermines any objective assurance of salvation, and put the focus back where it should be, on Christ's gracious payment for sin on the cross.
