On this episode I continue the theme of overcoming opposition, but it was also a special day where I got to serenade a cute Asian receptionist at my knee rehab place, and also played my new song, “Kimo The Gambler Man” for everyone there too.
When I came back to the yacht, Captain Otto, who is an awesome Creator, said, “You know… these covid times… I think it’s important to connect with our family and friends.” He said, “You should call your Dad”. It was so wild that he said that because just 2 hours earlier my Dad called me out of the blue just to say “hi” to me, and that.. made me cry.
So later that night I began to think of my other family members, and decided to do a voice-memo for my sister Katie, who lives with her husband, Jeff in Seattle. I did it, because I am scared of email. Hehe. It’s a real phobia. You can google it ya’ self!
But because of what Captain Otto said to me, I felt it was the Word of the Lord. I have been so lonely during these covid times, and I know you resonate with that as well. But that’s why I’m getting ready to Rock 50 Live shows on Oahu here, and I’m going to bring so much joy and (much needed) laughter to people’s lives as a kind of… “Post Covid energy shot in the arm” so we can all catch our second wind, and…. Maybe even (if we can take off our masks…) maybe Little Robbie can even get a girlfriend.
Now, listen to me… you’re starting to get to know me, Robbie Silverarm, and so I’m calling this episode the “Get Yacht Sloshed” episode, because I’m totally upfront and honest that I recorded this episode at around 4am in the morning, and yes… I had a few beers, and was exactly after I sent a long voice-memo to my sister, telling her my “Yacht Story” (which I may include in the next episode), because it will blow your mind, and it’ll make you cry too.
That being said… Let’s rock & roll! Let’s Build The Song! Because, girl… you KNOW you got it going ON!
Much love & aloha to you all,
🎸🔧
