This is it - we’re kicking off the year with the long awaited “Why I Left the Mormon Church” episode. It is, spoiler alert, not a hard-hitting-hot-take-spill-the-tea-on-Mormonism type of deal (soz if that’s what you were hoping for), but rather a spiritual autobiography of sorts (to use the words of my new favourite atheist chaplain, Vanessa Zoltan). In addition to getting up close and personal about my spiritual journey and how ultimately everything came down to specific details of the Mormon conception of the afterlife, I answer questions about how purity culture has affected my understanding of my own sexuality and why I was in a wedding dress at 14.
