Andrea Wicking was born in Wagga.
She spent her early years in Port Moresby and then the Gold Coast before finishing school in Darwin.
Andrea went on to study journalism at CDU but she was lured by the prospect of working and finished up just short of graduating.
She has worked in marketing for most of her life and she’s the better half of the Wicking partnership. Her husband, Colin Wicking, is the cartoonist for the NT News.
Andrea shares her interest in 80’s music, her involvement in the LGBTQI community and her views on unconscious bias. She also talks about her events promotion business, Salty Plum Events.
