This is Rebecca Forrest.
Born in Perth, Western Australia, Rebecca was the middle child in a happy family. She had a wonderful childhood and fond family memories.
After high school Rebecca studied public relations. She then moved to Bendigo with her then partner and their daughter. They eventually end up in Darwin via Brisbane. Things didn’t quite go accordingly to plan and they separated amicably soon after.
In Darwin, Rebecca joined Police, Fire and Emergency Services. She has worked in the organisation on and off for 10 years in media and communications.
During this time Rebecca met someone else. But things took a turn for the worse and she had to end the relationship. Rebecca courageously shares her experience of domestic violence.
She also talks about her career in public relations and working with first responders and the trauma and mental health issues they face.
Rebecca has worked on the boards for an endless list of charities and she discuss this important sector of the community.
