Born in Kilkenny, Ireland, Alicia lived a happy Irish childhood before leaving the little village to attend the University of Limerick to study economics.
As part of her studies she spent two years in Melbourne and then returned to Ireland to do a Masters in International Management.
Working in Ireland after the GFC and dealing with foreclosures caused Alicia to reevaluate her life and she decided to travel. After ending up in Bali and running out of money fast, she decided to come back to Australia. The closest destination was Darwin. That was six years ago.
