Description

Tisha Tejaya was born in Jakarta in the late 90s, Her parents moved to Darwin when she was two years old.

Although an only child, Tisha convinced her parents to allow her to board with a family in Sydney they’d met on the net, so she could complete high school.

She then went onto ANU and studied law before returning to Darwin to work for the Department of the Attorney-General and Justice.

As a Darwin resident, Tisha has a passion for the local markets where a lot of Asian produce is sold. She decided to write a book on the different kinds of fruit and vegetables sold and explain how they are used in cooking. She also hand illustrated the book herself. It was so successful she sold out her 800 copies in a month.

This is Tisha’s Territory Story.
