Sam McCue was born St Kilda, Melbourne and her family moved to PNG when she was two.
Her father was a civil engineer and worked in Port Moresby and Bougainville. The family moved back to Australia during Sam’s high school years.
After finishing high school in Mackay, Sam got a position as a cadet journalist. Her career eventually brought her to Darwin and she’s lived here for over 30 years.
Sam has worked for the NT News as a sub-editor, a ministerial advisor and she writes for the Qantas inflight magazine. For the past 26 years she has run her own business educating people on clear and effective writing. You can find her at https://www.sammccue.com/
