Description

Keith Gregory comes from farming stock. Born in Narramine in New South Wales, Keith learnt to drive a tractor at the age of 10. The family moved to Perth and Keith went on to complete Year 11 before taking up a job mustering on horseback in Shark Bay. At 18 years of age he was breaking in horses. However after a stint in New Zealand he realised there was no future in mustering and he returned to Perth to study business administration. He then went on to a career in commercial property finance for 13 years.

Keith married lady known as the Aussie Mermaid because she had been swept out to see off the coast of the Philippines but found 120 km from land. They had a son who was diagnosed with autism and were told their son would never function in society. Through his son Keith learnt a lot about overcoming challenges and he has sought to apply that to indigenous youth.

Keith discusses his vision for helping troubled youth and the struggles he has had with obtaining government funding for his work. We also debate the different views on indigenous advancement.
This is Keith's Territory Story.
