Rekha Kulkarni is a Senior Sales Consultant for 104.1 Territory FM.
She was born in the UK where her father was pursuing a PhD in horticulture. Her family returned to India when she was two and she lived the next six years in India. They then migrated to Australia when she was eight and her father took up a position in the CSIRO in Darwin.
Their idyllic lives were shattered when her older brother was diagnosed with cancer. He was only 14 years old. The family struggled through the ups and downs of the disease which eventually took his life at 21. Her brother’s last words to her was that he wanted to be reincarnated as an eagle. As Rekha left his bed that last time and walked outside in the rain, she saw an eagle.
Rekha has gone to live a good life with lots of opportunities and has a family of her own. This is Rekha’s Territory Story.
