Celeste Mackenzie was born in Adelaide in 1996. The last child of five children on her father's side and two children on her mother's side, she's half German and has siblings from three other parents.
After finishing high school, Celeste had a gap year on Gold Coast where she ended up in a share house with five Brazilian girls. She eventually returned to Adelaide and stayed with her father who passed away later that year. She decided to join the South Australian police and after graduating and getting some experience, she got a posting to Whyalla. Whilst she enjoyed the work, she faced problems at work and battled bouts of depression. She eventually left the police force and came to Darwin where she has extended family.
Celeste joined Raine & Horne and spent several months assisting Glenn Grantham (see episode 144) selling real estate. She recently left this industry to take up a position at the emergency call centre at St. Johns.
