Ciprian Radavoi is a lawyer and former diplomat, currently teaching & undertaking legal research at Charles Darwin University (CDU) in Darwin in the areas of international law, tort law, sports law, human rights and social justice.
Ciprian started life on a farm in Romania (in what is now Moldova). His childhood love of reading led to pursuit of a university degree (in Mechanical Engineering as a politically safe option in Ceaușescu- era Romania).
After witnessing first-hand the fall of the Ceaușescu regime, Ciprian left Transylvania in the rear view mirror of a motorbike on a trip across Asia, from Romania to Thailand. He then studied international law and politics in China and Sweden and his work is now focussed on durable institutions for future generations.
Ciprian has written books and articles on a wide range of legal and social issues from international investment to corporate social responsibility to the regulation of e-scooters.
