Week 2 for the weekend episode after Chris's return from holiday and things certainly haven't slowed down. Alice Springs is still very much close to mind given all the attention it's getting at present. But don't despair Darwin folk as there's a number of stories that will be close to your heart as well. And we even coined a new title this week, being "Un-Territorian", it may well be worse than being called Un-Australian!!

Each week we speak with Chris Walsh, Editor of the NT Independent online newspaper, about some of the stories making news in the Territory. This week’s stories are:

1. Analysis: The NT Government has been misusing federal Indigenous disadvantage money for years and the feds need to end it

2. Action delayed on alcohol bans despite report recommending immediate reinstatement

3. NT Police frontline staff reductions, massive budget cuts revealed in photo of secret Cabinet document

4. Her majesty Administrator Vicki O’Halloran plans grand send-off, police motorcade for ‘ceremonial farewell’

5. High power costs hitting home in NT with calls for government intervention

6. ‘It is not a safe job’: Union calls on government to make bus drivers safe, as 139 services cancelled in one day

7. CDU’s new pay deal for 1800 workers rejected by Fair Work Commission

8. Will this be Darwin’s most expensive and luxurious home?
