Description

Born in Adelaide, Rose travelled the world and was basking in the sun in a town between Portugal and Spain in 2013, when she got a call from Malaysia Airlines to head up their Darwin operations. Not sure at first, she was eventually persuaded.

Six months into the job, disaster struck with the disappearance of MH370. Then four months later, MH17 was shot down over Ukraine.

Rose talks about how she managed these crises in Darwin, her move to Virgin Australia and the untapped opportunities for aviation and tourism in the Top End.
